There are a million ways to practise writing. One of the best ways to ensure writing is logical and structured, is to us a graphic organiser. My template below will transform the planning and writing process for a non-fiction paragraph.
Think of a topic sentence or claim.
Support your claim with 3 relevant points.
Develop each point by adding additional reasons, examples and details (RED)
Conclude your paragraph by looking at what themes have arisen from your points and RED. Try categorising the information and connecting the categories to the initial claim.
And hey presto - you have just written the perfect paragraph (for non-fiction anyway)!
